I guess my obsession with photography and aesthetics started young with one of my favorite things...magazines. I would hoard them to carefully cut out inspiring shots and glue them into books. At one point in middle school I also had an entire wall of my room covered with magazine images. I just love looking at gorgeous images, always have. Now I am lucky enough to be someone who gets to create those images!

I took a very indirect path to get to where I am today starting off college as a fashion major and finishing with an interior design degree. Then becoming a middle school history teacher while planning weddings during the summer and now (phew) as a narrative photographer. All of the experience I gained on this squiggly line of life has given me the exact skills I need to plan and art direct shoots, tell your history and story through the lens, consult with you on fashion options, work with shy and rambunctious kiddos, and stay seriously organized through it all.  

​I live in a small town in San Diego county on an acre filled with citrus and avocado trees. My husband Chris is my biggest supporter and my sometimes photo assistant. Together we share our love of travel and food with our daughter, who is becoming quite the little photographer herself. Reach out below, I love to make new friends!
