Ah…young love! There is nothing quote like capturing it in still images. Amelia and Kai were up for a little hike to a local natural creek for a fun photography session. I love when clients are up to do something a little out of the ordinary because it always make their photos sing, especially when it entails a hike to a stunning natural area like this one. It was a fun session having them play in and out of the water and put their love on display.

Working with Amelia on styling the session, I wanted to coordinate their outfits to be simple, yet coordinate well with the colors of the surroundings with rich browns and a blue striped dress that played well with the reflections on the water. Choosing a jacket and sweater that had textural components for the second half of the shoot have the resulting images some dimension.
